Tables, lamps and artwork were the story of this room redesign.
As you can see, the basic seating arrangement in this room stayed the same. One of the main problems with this space was the lack of light in mid-range (notice the one small Tiffany lamp for the entire room!). The room also needed a coffee table for the sofa, and color throughout the space.
Happily, a set of end tables and matching coffee table were sitting unused in another part of the home. The homeowner also had some wonderful family artwork to warm up the empty white walls. Usually we find everything we need for a makeover right in the house, but in this case we brought in lamps, greenery and touches of red to finish off the space.
The sweetest surprise of the day came in the form of our homeowner’s young son, who ran into the newly redesigned room, hopped onto the couch, and announced “I love it!!”
